Lavender Cottage, Condicote

Lavender Cottage is less than 100m from the green in Condicote and although several hundred years old itself, has recently been the subject of a comprehensive renovation.

Lavender Cottage, Condicote

Condicote is the perfect sleepy Cotswolds village, untouched by the passage of time. The ancient church of St Nicholas overlooks the Pound, the walled village green, a view that will have remained little changed down the centuries.

Surprisingly this idyllic setting is only two miles away from the bustling market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, the heart of the Cotswolds, with its antique shops, pubs and acclaimed restaurants. Formerly the wool capital of the Cotswolds, this beautiful town dates from the 17th century and visually it has remained remarkably unchanged down the centuries.

Lavender Cottage is less than 100m from the green and although several hundred years old itself, has recently been the subject of a comprehensive renovation.

There is a fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room and a sitting room with TV, video and stereo. Upstairs in the master bedroom there is a king sized bed with dressing table, whilst the second bedroom consists of two singles. In the bathroom downstairs there’s a large walk-in shower.

Condicote is accessible from London by car in under two hours and is three miles from the local railway station at Moreton-in-Marsh, where there is a regular taxi service.
